BROKERAGE AND ADVISORY SERVICES (FCBAS)

Head – FCBAS
The FCBAS team facilitates trade execution on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE) and international markets through the Pershing platform. We also support equity market activity including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Additional Public Offerings (APOs) and stock splits. In addition, we provide advisory services to companies looking to list on the TTSE or regional exchanges and offer guidance on capital market transactions involving their equity holdings.

PROPRIETARY AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Head – Proprietary Portfolio Management
The Proprietary Trading team manages FCIS’s Investment Portfolio, assets valued at average TT$6 billion. Our main goal is to generate strong returns to support the repo business while carefully managing risk. We invest primarily in debt instruments and actively manage market, credit, and liquidity risks. We also trade to generate gains for First Citizens and conduct broker trades for clients of Wealth Management and FCPIMS.

RESEARCH AND ANALYTICS
Since 2018, the Investment Research team at FCIS has been providing valuable insights and analysis to support the Group. We cover stock valuations, recommendations, bond pricing, credit monitoring, and IPO/APO reviews. We also share quarterly sector outlooks and regular articles on the Group’s social media—keeping our teams and clients informed and empowered.
